MY LEGACY JOURNEY
The catalyst for thinking about my legacy began with my daughter. From the moment she was born, I felt a deep, intuitive responsibility—not just to raise her, but to ensure she would always be safe in this world, no matter what. As a mother, I know I cannot shield her from every hardship or obstacle she will face in life, but I realized there was another way to protect her: by creating a legacy of support, strength, and wisdom through the impact I have on other women. If anything were to ever happen to me, I want to know that she is part of a community—like a village—surrounded by women I’ve touched, who would look after her as if she were their own. This vision of true safety for my daughter extended beyond just our immediate relationship. It became clear to me that by empowering and uplifting other women, I was creating ripples that could spread far beyond my reach. As my daughter moves through life, trekking her own path, there may be women she encounters—women I have mentored or indirectly impacted—who carry the essence of what I’ve instilled. These women, connected through shared experiences, philosophies, and values, would be part of a larger, invisible web of support. In that way, my teachings, philosophies, care, and even my DNA would live on in the hearts and minds of others, ensuring not just my daughter’s safety, but also her ability to thrive in a world shaped by empowered, resilient women. My legacy isn’t just about what I leave behind; it’s about creating something that lives on, a force that continues to guide and protect long after I’m gone. It’s knowing that, through the many women I have helped, there is a collective strength that surrounds my daughter, and that essence of love, wisdom, and resilience will echo on through her own journey. This is the true essence of my legacy—one built not on ego, but on connection, compassion, and a shared vision of a better, safer world for generations to come.
